Evening runs have been extremely well supported this year, with numbers into the mid-teens a lot of the time, and last Wednesday we even reached the twenty mark.

Teignmouth Golf Course was suggested as a destination and before long we had reached Kingsteignton and turned up Humber Lane where Paul found his back wheel wasn’t behaving as it should when he went into bottom gear. No-one having a spare spindle to put things right, Paul headed back into Kingsteignton to phone for rescue.

From the golf course there were nice views over the Teign estuary with street lights reflected in gently rippling water, and once over Shaldon bridge we were soon in the lanes from Coombeinteignhead to Torquay.
